More Paylines for Your Money
One of the features of Panda’s Gold that appealed to us immediately is the 38 paylines that you get for free. That’s right, when you pay to play this slot you are paying for 50 paylines. What you actually get is a slot with 88 paylines. That means you have 38 additional lines that you can win prize payouts on and you don’t have to pay for any of them at all.
Bet At Any Level You Like
This slot might not be for low stakes gamblers unless they are comfortable wagering at least $0.50 per spin because that’s the lowest you can bet while you play here. It’s definitely for high rollers though because the maximum wager amount is a staggering $500.00, which is much more than you can wager at most other online slot games.
A Panda Wild
The Panda symbol is the wild in this slot game and can only appear on the last three reels. That means that you have an improved chance of winning prizes whenever you see a panda symbol. There is no special multiplier attached to these wilds though, so they are just okay.
Modest Prize Opportunities
During the base game of this slot the prize payouts aren’t very impressive at all. The two different bird symbols are the most valuable offering an 888 coin payout and a 288 coin payout respectively. After that is the koi symbol and the temple symbol and both are worth up to 188 coins. These symbols are pretty low paying, and they are the best that you have to look forward to with your spins. You can use combination prize wins to get slightly better payouts, but most of the big wins will come from the special bonus features in Panda’s Gold. These low payouts can be forgiven though, because the slot gives you 38 bonus paylines to get wins on. That means that wins are extremely common when you play this slot.
Scatter Bonus Games
The main reason that we enjoyed our time with Panda’s Gold is because of the scatter symbols. These symbols not only give you a chance to win some decent prize payouts instantly, but they also help you unlock one of three different bonus rounds that pay quite nicely with just a bit of luck on your side. Get three or more of the symbols and you’ll trigger the re-spin feature. This feature gives you one free re-spin to try and get 4 or 5 scatters instead of 3. It will trigger an additional time if you can get one added scatter to bring you up from 3 scatters to 4. If you don’t get additional scatters you will move on to the special bonus games.
There are three different bonus games in this slot and the one that you trigger depends entirely on the number of scatters that you have. If you have three scatters you’ll unlock Prosperity, with four you get Wealth and with all five you will trigger Fortune.
During Prosperity you get 8 free spins and wilds act as 3x multiplier. Making a prize with one or more of the wild symbols will instantly triple its value throughout this bonus round, which makes those top wins a bit more respectable to try for.
During Wealth you get the same 8 free spins, but any time that you win a prize that includes a wild symbol, that prize is multiplied by 8x. That makes prizes much more exciting to win and can leave you with some substantial wins if you are lucky enough.
Finally, there is Fortune. During Fortune you have two different bonuses to look forward to. First, during all 8 of your free spins any prize win that you get at all, when no wild is present, you will enjoy a 5x multiplier on your win. IF you get a win including a wild that multiplier will climb up to an 8x multiplier instead. This is the highest paying bonus round and can leave you with massive prize payouts in some instances.
A Basic Autoplay Feature
Panda’s Gold has an autoplay feature that lets you make the reels spin without having to press any spin button to get it going. Instead, you just press the Autoplay symbol and the reels will take off on their own. You won’t even have to sit in front of your game screen while autoplay runs, unless you want to be able to turn the feature off at a certain amount, which you must do manually by pressing the spin button once.
Panda’s Gold seems like a pretty basic slot game on the surface, but it has a lot going for it as long as you factor in the different bonus games.
